What is SCORE
A methodology that puts improvement on the shop floor
SCORE — Sustaining Competitive and Responsible Enterprises — was developed by the International Labour Organization (ILO). It combines classroom training with hands-on factory coaching, aiming to improve productivity and working conditions in small and medium-sized enterprises at the same time.
It requires no additional capital investment. Instead it unlocks employee participation and improves management and work processes, so that quality, cost, safety and employee relations improve together. Since 2010, SCORE training has been introduced in more than ten countries, reaching 6,357 enterprises and 1,000,000 workers, with third-party evaluations showing measurable gains in productivity, cost savings and working conditions.
SCORE Academy delivers SCORE-based support — from online courses and in-company training to consultant development — and uses digital tools to help organisations turn improvement actions into repeatable mechanisms.
