Recently, Apple released its 2022 annual report "People and the Environment in the Supply Chain" to the public. The report mentions that Apple has helped its Chinese supply chain companies to participate in SCORE, which is a recognition of SCORE and reinforces the SCORE team's confidence in helping more companies to achieve sustainable development.


Continuously promoting interaction between management and employees


Lack of or breakdowns in communication between employers and employees can lead to all kinds of worker problems and low job satisfaction. To create an environment of greater dialogue and accountability between supplier employees and line management, we will continue to work with SCORE Academy, an organisation that provides decent work-related support to global supply chains, to ensure the successful launch of the SCORE programme, based on training courses developed by the International Labour Organisation (ILO). Support the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and create a better working environment for them. The programme has been implemented in several supplier factories in China and provides an opportunity for management and supplier employee representatives to work together to find solutions to issues such as environmental, health and safety (EHS) risks, workplace dialogue, productivity and prevention of workplace harassment.
