SCORE NEWS | Hangzhou South Management Centre boosts corporate safety grassroots management with SCORE 
Recently, Hangzhou South Management Center of Zhejiang Transportation Group invited Jia Hongwei, an expert trainer of SCORE project, to give a professional lecture to further establish a sound safety management system, improve the comprehensive quality of staff and management effectiveness, strengthen the safety grassroots management of enterprises, and accelerate the construction of SCORE project "group localization" by guiding all staff to identify problems and solve them together, and improve the working environment.



2、Implementation of the Factory Improvement Toolset in the Asian garment sector: Final report
This final report reviews the results of the pilot implementation of Factory Improvement Toolset (FIT) across 27 factories located in Cambodia, Bangladesh and Pakistan.
The pilot programme revealed FIT’s methodology to be useful and easily applicable, with many participants praising its activity-based, peer-learning approach in fostering natural interactions and building confidence to tackle workplace challenges in a step-by-step manner. The wide module variety makes the toolset highly adaptable to factory needs, while coaching of in-factory facilitators and coordinators during the pilot stage helped build overall factory capacity to apply the tools independently of outside support.



  World Day for Safety and Health at Work

In June 2022, the International Labour Conference (ILC) decided to include “a safe and healthy working environment” in the ILO’s framework of fundamental principles and rights at work.
On 28 April 2023, the ILO will celebrate this decision, bringing together experts and constituents to discuss the implications it has for the world of work, as well as how to practically implement this right in the world of work. It will also serve to present the findings of research on the implementation status of various provisions of the fundamental Conventions No. 155 and No. 187.
